You're amazing!

by Marika

Hello, it's Marika here. Some of you might have noticed that this post was posted temporarily already yesterday. We accidentally posted two posts in the same day, so we rescheduled this for the next day. I apologise all the inconvenience it may have caused you. But today I am featuring Vintage Flowers and Roses set and I'll show you how you can add more dimension and details to these beautiful flowers. They are absolutely beautiful just as stamped but you know me, I cannot keep my pencils away from any stamped image. This is also good to keep in mind if you miss-stamp your flower or a leaf – you can easily correct it with you watercolour pencils. So here it is:

Other supplies: Inks: Altenew Crisp Inks: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee.

Inktense Pencils: Sienna Gold (0240), Mid Vermillion (0310), Light Olive (1540)

You can watch my tutorial here or in HD in YouTube.

I hope you found this tutorial helpful and got some inspiration. I have a favour to ask as well. I have one more tutorial already planned for Altenew, if you have some ideas what you might want to see in the future, please let me know them in the comments below.  I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you. See you soon! Marika

Marika, your card is amazing! What a gorgeous way to add depth to these beautiful flowers! Swooning! I have the Vintage Roses, but still need LOTS of practice to get the layering right…I keep messing up, but I’m carrying on! Once I get them figured out, I’ll definitely try your technique. You asked what else we’d like to see: I have a brand new, not-yet-opened set of Lacy Scrolls. I’d love to see you work magic with those! THANK YOU for such marvelous inspiration!
