you are amazing

Good morning, and happy Monday!   Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you: I started by stamping the lion image from Geometric Menagerie onto letterpress cardstock.  Letterpress paper is nice and thick, and perfect for watercolor!  I then quickly painted in the image and set it aside to dry.  Next, I stamped a sentiment from our Wood Pallet Background set, cut it out, and mounted it to the card with foam tape.

To customize my sentiment, I masked off part of a phrase from Geometric Menagerie (it originally said “you're cool and I'm not lion”).  I finished off the card with some strips of fuchsia and black card stock.
