Yay, A New Mini Delight: Happy Birthday Release Instagram Hop + Giveaway

Hello, Altenew friends! Welcome to our Mini Delight Release post.

Before we move on with today's Instagram hop, check out a new project made with the latest Mini Delight: Happy Birthday Stamp & Die Set.

Project

I started out with the lovely Bunches of Balloons 3D Embossing Folder. Using a 3D Embossing Folder will take your card designs to new heights!

Be sure to use heavier cardstock such as Classic Crest Solar White (110 lb) so the letterpress effect will be more defined and the paper will not tear.

For the three animal balloons, I stamped in Pink Diamond, Mountain Mist, and Sea Breeze Crisp Dye Inks.  As for the highlighted shading, I stamped multiple times or used one shade darker.

You can use foam tape to pop up the cute animal balloons. I adhered three die-cut pieces together and that really helped with adding the dimension.

To make this card a bit more sophisticated, I used Pale Gray Cardstock. White and gray cardstock are definitely essential for cardmaking. Don't forget the finishing touches by adding some Enamel Dots.
