Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello there everyone! Today is the start of the Winter Coffee Lovers Hop. As we are one of the Super Sponsors we wanted to share a card that uses one of our beverage inspired stamp sets with a little winter thrown in.

So I have used quite a lot of different stamp sets on this card, and they all work perfectly together! So I started out stamping teacup and saucer from Vintage Teacup Stamp Set twice. Once onto some teal cardstock and once onto some white. The images on the white cardstock I cut out with the coordinating Vintage Teacup Die Set. Onto the teal images I stamped and heat embossed in white the polka dot pattern. Once this was dry I fussy cut these out, removing the inside of the cup and the bottom of the sauce. Then I glued these onto the white die-cut images. I added some ‘tea' into the cup using the image from Vintage Teacup Stamp Set and Espresso Crisp Ink.

I added roses around the cup using Vintage Roses Stamp Set and Vintage Flowers Stamp Set. For the roses I used my favourite pink Crisp Ink combo, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry and Ruby Red and the leaves were stamped with all of the greens from Green Fields.

As thought this so too spring like so I wanted to winter it up a so I added fir fronds from Poinsettia & Pine Stamp Set using Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake Crisp Inks. From Freeform Greenery Stamp Set I added in some bare branches using Espresso Crisp Ink. The berries are one of the small dots from Vintage Flowers Stamp Set in Ruby Red Crisp Ink.

For the sentiment I used one from Modern Deer Stamp Set. I wanted it to go over the images so I stamped this onto some vellum and heat embossed in gold. The original sentiment is in three rows but with a little masking you can get it in a straight line.
