Hello it's Debby here. Gosh I can't believe we are almost at the end of the year already! For today's card I'm using the Golden Garden set. I fell in love with the this gorgeous set a while back after seeing this card by Marika where she colored the set with beautiful blueberries. For my winter berries version today I'm going for a red and green Holiday feel.
I stamped the Golden Garden images twice with black ink on grey card and cut out with their matching dies. With a bundle on die cuts on my desk I colored the images with Faber Castell pencils and accented with white and glitter pens. I also stamped the leaf fronds from Floral Frame with embossing ink and white heat embossed before cutting out with the Floral Frame dies. I love how the fronds nestle around the berries and the white embossing brightens everything up a little.
On a grey panel I white heat embossed a sentiment form Holiday Wishes and splattered the panel with white gouache. I gathered the die cuts together and adhered with foam adhesive. I then accented with a twine bow and a few clear sequins. Finally I mounted the finished panel on a white card base.
I hope you have a great day. If you are celebrating, I wish you the happiest of Holidays and a creative start to 2017!

Also was blown away by Marika’s blueberries using this stamp set…had to have it! Your interpretation of Golden Garden’s berries is also fantastic, especially the color selection on top of the pale grey. Winners all ’round!

Yep, Marika’s card with ‘blueberries’ pushed me over the edge and I purchased Golden Garden! BUT if I hadn’t purchased it already….THIS card would have ensured the stamp set and dies would be in my cart. LOVE THIS! Thanks for such great inspiration. Really appreciate the opportunity to see the set through a different set of eyes! Amazing!

I think this is lovely. Definitely festive colors for the holidays.
Happy Holidays to you Bunny. Thanks for calling by :D
Such a great card! How does this grey cardstock compare to SSS fog card?
The grey I used is Strathmore Toned Gray and is a lovely color with a slight mottle to it similar to kraft card. It is however, lighter in weight than most card; more like a thick paper really.
gorgeous!! The gray really makes the berries pop!
