Wedding Kit Inspiration

by Lydia Evans

Hello there everyone and happy Monday to you all!

It's Lydia here with you with my little take on the Altenew Wedding Kit. I was soooo excited when this came through the door as it's such an awesome kit and the packaging is pretty cool too.

My first wedding stationary set I'm sharing with you uses items you will find in the kit- the only thing I added was a strip of black card, that's it!

I used one of the templates to print out the invitation and RSVP card onto the beautiful card stock that is included in the kit. The only thing I changed on the template was the indent (which you can do with the tools included).

Once I printed them out I added a bit of masking tape above the writing on the invitation and to the right of the writing on the RVSP.

‘Painted Flowers' is the stamp set included in the kit and it is so beautiful and versatile, especially for wedding stationary. I stamped the outlines using Jet Black along the edge of the masking tape and added in some of the outline buds and leaves. I then stamped in the solid layers of the flowers using Coral Berry and Ruby Red for one flower and Buttercream and Warm Yellow for the other. All of these inks are included in the set.

When all the stamping was finished I removed the masking tape and added a strip of black card to add more of a defined edge to the images.

For my next set I added in some extras but used the same template I used for the first set, just to show that you can really play with this kit and make it your very own.

So as I said I used the same template only this time after printing with my laser printer I added foiling to the words. Just showing that you can take this as far as you want.

I then used ‘Beautiful Day‘ stamp set and some gold ink to add some images to top and a little to the right side of the invitation and to the bottom right and a little to the left side of the RSVP. When the stamping was complete I covered the writing on both the invitation and RSVP with some scraps of paper and added some splatters of gold ink.

I am absolutely loving this kit …. and feel like I need to renew my vows just so I can send invitations out using it.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you like my inspiration using the Altenew Wedding Kit.
