Watercolored Lacy Scrolls

by Marika

Hello!

It's Marika here to share a card using Lacy Scrolls and a sentiment from Sketchy Rose set.

Unfortunately I don't have a video for you today but I'll explain how I made this. I stamped the flowers from Lacy Scrolls set with distress ink and then I used my watercolour set to add contrast. You can add as much details as you want, this time I went with less detail and tried to achieve more loose watercolored look. You can use this technique with distress inks, watercolours or with your Zig Clean Color Brush Markers – all mediums work very well.

Hope your day is beautiful! Have a great one!

Hugs,

Marika

Just curious – could you please tell me which watercolour paper you prefer for your cards?

Hi Carol, thank you for you comment. I mainly use Canson or Daler & Rowney watercolour paper since they are easily found here in Europe. Have a beautiful day!

Hello Marika! I think you are a master at knowing just when to say “when” – you’ve added just enough, to make it perfect, and perfectly YOURS!
I did miss the video, however… my coffee just wasn’t the same without it! xx
