Hello, everyone! This is Aga here today and I would like to share with you a simple card created with the newly released Beach Towel Stripes Stencil. It’s a great pattern that features stripes of varied thicknesses and I decided to use it with watercolors to create a whimsical and artsy background.
I started out by placing the stencil over the watercolor card and secured it with washi tape. Next, I applied water with a sponge dauber over the stencil and used Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set to create the background. Once it was dry, I sprinkled some ink splatters and then removed the stencil to see how it turned out.
To finish my card, I cut a rose from Rose Filament Die Set out of white cardstock and combined it with a leaf cluster die-cut using Leaf Clusters Die Set and a paper from Verdant Walk 6×6 Paper Pack. As a final step, I added my sentiment from Thinking of You Stamp Set stamped in black and popped up with foam tape for some dimension.
Thank you for stopping by today!
