Hello friends! This is Yana and I have a new video tutorial to share.
I love to create my own unique stamped patterns and I find Altenew stamps to be perfect for this. Today I'm using Vintage Roses (with a bit of Vintage Flowers) to stamp one of a kind vintage fabric-like pattern for my cards. Don't worry, I'm sharing lots of tips and showing you in detail how you can re-stamp identical pattern yourself.
To learn how to create today's cards, please watch my video tutorial below. You can also watch it on Youtube:
ARVE Error: need id and providerTo save time while stamping my pattern instead of stamping each flower from start to finish one by one I batch-stamped everything.
First, I stamped the base layer of 3 roses making sure to leave enough room for the leaves. Next I stamped the base layer of the leaves and added leaf details. I only did 2 layers as I didn't want the 3rd layer to be too dark and distracting on my project.
Next I added 2nd and 3rd layers to my flowers. Overall, it took me about 15 minutes to stamp one pattern. I also die cut a basic shape in the pattern to be a spotlight for the sentiment. I went with simple Hello from the Super Script stamp set (I also used a matching die) and also a few sentiments from Painted Butterflies set to complete these cards.
In case you are wondering what colors of ink I used, here is the list: Blush, Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy for one of the flowers and also Perfect Peach, Rouge and Blush once again for another flower. For the leaves instead of traditional greens I used lighter blues – Sea Glass and Ocean Waves.
