Hi, crafty friends! It's May here to share three ways to use the Oriental Orchid Korean stamp set I designed for Altenew November release.
This set contains not only the multi layer style of stamps to achieve detailed orchids, it also features my handwritten sentiments in Korean. If you want to see the English version of the orchid stamp set, please click HERE.This is the translation of Korean greetings. I tried to include the most popular sentiments for cardmaking. If you are Korean, you'll notice how versatile theses sentiments are.
For my first card, I focused on the multi layering to create my own cluster of orchids. You can easily make magical arrangements and bouquets of orchids.

I went out of my comfort zone to create my next card, inspired by the queen of coloring, Marika. I used the Derwent watercolor pencil to color the orchids after stamping them with white ink on the navy blue card base. I used the white colored pencil without water for rich, intense color.
It isn't perfect coloring as I tried this technique for the first time, but I love how my card turned out. What do you think?

For my last card, I only used two layers of orchid in various colors. With mix of different shapes of orchids and unique sentiments in the set, the possibilities are endless.
To celebrate the release of my two stamps sets, I'm giving away one of the stamp sets(above) of your choice. Please visit my blog HERE to enter the giveaway. Giveaway ends on Nov 29th.
Well, that’s all I have today. Hope you loved my cards and got some inspiration. Have a happy Thanksgiving day!
