Hello!
Erum here with another floral card! Today, I will be using the Adore You Stamp Set. I have decided to do one layer stamping which involves quite a bit of masking.
To start, I drew a rectangle onto the Crest Solar White Cardstock. Next, I masked this rectangle. This will be where the sentiment would go. After masking the rectangle, I started stamping the flowers one by one and placed my masks as I moved forward. All the stamping was done with Permanent Black Ink. When I was done stamping, I removed all the masks and heat set the image for a few seconds.
Next, I used the Red Cosmos Artist Markers Set for the red flower. While I was coloring, I ran out of the Coral Berry Artist Marker so I switched it with the Cotton Candy Artist Marker from the Four Scoops Set.
For the yellow flowers, I used the Summer Afternoon Artist Markers Set and for the leaves, I used the Green Fields Set.
To color the rectangle, I used the Morning Frost and the Evening Gray Artist Markers. And for the flower centers, I used the Moon Rock and the Morning Frost Artist Markers.
After coloring, I stamped the sentiment from the Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom Set.
Afterward, I took a black color pencil to add shadows. Together with the shadows from the Artist Markers and the black color pencil, I created faux dimension to my one layer stamped piece. In order to understand what I am trying to say, I suggest you watch the video.
In the end, I added a few black paint splatters and popped some embellishment.

Gorgeous one layer card, fantastic idea with the masking for the sentiment!
Thank you :)
Lovely card!
Thanks♥
I don’t like to mask but have to admit, it provides so much more options when designing a card…guess I better put that in my bag of tricks then because I just LOVE this card.
Yeah, it is a chore. But the adore you fowers are relatively easier to cut :) Thank you for liking the card :)
Beautiful card! I love how that touch of black coloring adds a great dimensional look!!
Thank you!
Such a beautiful card and enjoyed watching your video!
Thank you ♥
This is so beautiful. The big eye opener for me was – you did not color each petal with exactly the same shadows and highlight! They look lovely!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you Barb!
An excellent video, Erum, and a gorgeous card!

Thank you!
OK, Erum. You have broken me down to actually start masking! These are easy to cut out so I am going to cut multiples of my fave floral sets and store them with the sets. THIS is the difference between a pretty card and a FABULOUS one! Laziness is no longer an excuse…you have convinced me!
Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
You are the kindest soul. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face. I do that too, I prepare masks and put them in the stamp insert with the stamps. I have been using the same masks for a year now.
WOW, this is so beautiful Erum, thank you for sharing
absolutely gorgeous! Wow!
Awesome card, Erum and beautiful bright colours. Thank you.
Beautiful, I love how you did the masking and made your own sentiment tag
When I grow up I want to be able to color as beautifully as you. You always “wow” me. Thank you so much for all you do and sharing so much knowledge.
Erum, I am so inspired by your video! Thank you. May I ask what kind of paper you use for your masking?
