Hello!
It's Marika here again, I hope you are all having a beautiful morning. A few weeks back, Svitlana made a tutorial on embossing resist technique. I was so inspired by her work that I wanted to try on my own – here's a link to her card! Her project gave me an idea how to use those solids stamps for masking your coloured images. One thing in crafting that I find quite unpleasant to do is to cut masks – I don't know why, I love to cut but to cut masks kinda feels – well I'm not big fan of cutting them. But to stamp my mask and put a coat of embossing powder over it sounded quick and easy to do – and it was!! I'm sure I'll be using thing technique quite often. Svitlana erased her embossing powder with iron after she was finished with her background – I used clear dull embossing powder and left it to be. Here's my project:
I also made this into a video tutorial and you can watch it here or in HD in Youtube. You can find the full list of supplies HERE.
