Hi there everyone! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing how you can stretch your supplies by using mask stencils as images in their own right. I'll be using the Bold Bunch Mask Stencil to show you how.
I started by using the stencil part of my mask stencil to create the flower clusters. I started with the larger flowers and moved backward from there. You can also use the mask part of the mask stencil to mask out the flowers. I used a whole array of inks and used finger daubers to apply them through the stencil. I'm just loving this tropical vibe, you can tell I'm not ready for winter.
Once I had finished ink blending all of the images, I took a black fine line pen and doodled in images. I used the ink blended images as a guide and loosely went around them and added flower centers. For the sentiment, I used Handwritten Hello Die Set cut from Classic Crest Solar White and Jet Black Cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you get inspired to use your mask stencils as images on your next handmade card!

Wow! I love this. I hardly ever use my stencils except for projects that they are intended for but this gives me a whole new outlook on my stencils that I have in stock. Thanks you so much!
Thanks for showing how to use the stencil. I’m never sure if I like a certain product or even think I’d use it, but then I get to see it in a project and I change my mind. The video instruction was great. Very clear and easy to follow. Especially like that you included how to fix the image with some clever placement. The hand lining and doodling to finish looks awesome. I don’t have any stencils, but I think I’d like to try this one out.
Wonderful! I love it.
