Hello there everyone! Lydia here and I'll be sharing how you can create a fun look with colored, textured embossing paste using the Layered Cupcake Stamp & Die Set.
I started by cutting Layered Cupcake Die from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then I stamped the cupcake wrapper layers and cake image from Layered Cupcake Stamp Set into place onto it. For the wrapper, I used Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake Inks, and Rocky Shore Ink for the cake piece. I didn't stamp the frosting as this is the fun part! I took some of the white Embossing Paste and added in a little Pinkalicious Re-Inker to color it. Once this was mixed together, I used this to ‘frost' my cupcake. After it was nicely “frosted”, I added a sprinkle of Translucent Pearl Embossing Powder and left it to dry.
Next, I added a little patterned paper from Our Family Scrapbook Collection before adding a white frame cut using Our Family Frame Die. I added the frame into place using foam tape and then added the dried frosted cupcake into place. For the sentiment, I used Birthday Greetings Stamp Set, I white heat-embossed this one a strip of gray cardstock so as not to take too much attention from the main image.
