Lydia’s Crafty Corner – Stamping using Watercolor Brush Markers

Hi there everyone! It's Lydia here again. Today I'll be showing you a fun way to stamp using our new watercolor brush markers.

I started with a piece of watercolor cardstock, using two of the circles from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set. I drew around them to create a guide for stamping my wreath. Now for the fun part! I took one of the flowers from Wildflower Garden Stamp Set and colored onto the stamp using Warm Sunshine and Rubellite Watercolor Markers, then I added a little spritz of water to it before stamping this into place. I just love this technique, it gives a different look with every image you stamp!

I did the same technique of coloring onto the stamps from Wildflower Garden Stamp Set with watercolor brush markers, spritzing into place and then stamping until I had completed the wreath. I used Orange Cream Marker for the small flower, Limeade and Moss Markers for one of the leaves, Limeade and Dusk Markers for the other leaf and Sea Breeze and Midnight Violet Markers. Once dry, I then erased the pencil lines.

I finished the card off simply by stamping a sentiment from Build-A-Flower: Flourishing Zinnia Stamp Set in the center of the wreath.
