Hello everyone and happy Friday ! It's Lydia here with you today sharing a fun technique to create pop art looking florals. I saw a card by Tasnim using this technique and really wanted to try it out for myself.
I started by stamping a the largest square from Halftone Squares Stamp Set onto white cardstock, I stamped it three times for each color. The colors I used are Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, Just Green and Sweet Leaf. I then took Fantasy Floral 3D Die Set and cut the flower layers and leaves from the stamped squares.
Once all the layers were cut, I adhered the flowers together using glue tape to create this fun pop art look.
For the card base, I took a white card base and adhered a Jet Black Cardstock panel onto it at an angle. I felt having the black behind the die cut floral images made them pop so much more! I adhered the flowers and leaves onto the panel using foam tape for the flowers and glue tape for the leaves.
As I didn't want to take to much focus from the floral images I added a simple sentiment strip. To do this I stamped a sentiment from Forever And Always Stamp Set onto a strip of Jet Black Cardstock using Embossing Ink and heat set using Pure White Embossing Powder. I cut this strip at an angle at one side to add a little more interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll see you again real soon!
