Hello there everyone! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a fun look by mixing bright and bold layered floral images with black outline images of a different style. The two sets I will be using are Rosy Outlook and Precious Peony.
Let's get started!
I started by stamping the flowers and leaves from Rosy Outlook Stamp Set onto a piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. I used Sunray, Chamomile, Snapdragon, and Marigold Inks for the yellow flowers, Iceberg, Eastern Sky, Ultramarine, and Azurite Inks for the blue flowers, Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, and Vineyard Berry Inks for the pink flowers and Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, and Just Green Inks for the leaves and stems. Once they were all stamped, I die cut them using the coordinating dies.
I then stamped the large flower cluster outlines from Precious Peony Stamp Set into place onto a white card base using Obsidian Ink. Then I added the die-cut images into place onto the stamped outline to kind of color the image in. I have to say I'm really liking this look!
To finish, I simply stamped sentiments using the Precious Peony Stamp Set and Obsidian Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you got inspired to try mixing bright layered florals and black outline images on your next project!
