Hello everyone and happy Friday! It's Lydia here with you and today I have a video to share showing my technique on how to create a galaxy sky with ink blending.
To start, I cut the circle from Big World Die Set and placed it where I wanted to stamp later onto a white card panel. I then went about creating the sky, I used finger daubers to add the ink to my cardstock. The colors I used are Mango Smoothie, Crimson, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet, Galactic Stream, and Desert Night. I started with the lighter colors and worked my way up to the darker colors, adding the colors to random areas.
Once I was happy with the amount of ink I had laid down I then added some stars. To do this I used Pure White, Iridescent, Antique Silver and Antique Gold Ink Sprays, I didn't spray them but instead flicked them onto the card panel. Then I removed the circle mask and left to dry a little.
I then went ahead and stamped in the world from Big World Stamp Set. I used Ocean Waves and Dusk Inks for the sea, Sweet Leaf and Just Green Inks for the first part of the land and Just Green and Hunter Green for the second part of the land.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
