Hello there everyone! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a fun idea for a rainbow background. You can use any cardstock you have but I'll be using the some of the Gradient Cardstock Packs.
To start I took Ruby Red, Caramel Toffee, Warm Sunshine, Just Green, Deep Iris and Puffy Heart Cardstock from various Gradient Cardstock Packs. I cut them length ways to create 1/4″ strips. I then adhered these to a panel of white cardstock using glue tape.
For the first card I stamped the large image from Exotic Garden Stamp Set onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ rainbow panel using Embossing Ink. I heat set this using Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. To make the image pop a little more I covered the whole panel using white pigment ink.
For the second card I stamped the same image using Embossing Ink but this time I used Pure White Embossing Powder to heat set. I cut this piece through the image and used the larger piece on a card base.
For the third card I stamped the image onto my card base using Obsidian Ink. I then used the waste rainbow piece from the second card to join the images. I have to say this is my favorite of the three cards.
I finished of the three cards with a sentiment from Across The Pond Stamp Set.

Love these cards, so colorful and bright! Made me smile biggest! ?
Great video. Was wondering why you were leaving the long edges of the strips, until you cut and reused them.
Super pretty! And I love your accent in the video’s!
