Hello everyone! Lydia here and I'll be showing a couple of different looks when heat embossing through stencils using the Flowing Butterfly Stencil.
To start, I took the Flowing Butterfly Stencil and placed it onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. I then used a foam blending tool to add Embossing Ink through the stencil. When the image was covered, I removed the stencil and heat embossed it using Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. I did this three times to create three panels.
The first panel, I ink blended Parrot, Lagoon, and Deep Iris Inks to cover the whole panel. I also added some splatter using Iridescent Ink Spray to break up the solid ink blending. The second panel, I colored in the butterfly using small finger daubers and the same colors of ink that I used for the first panel. For the third panel, I used the circle stamp from Simple Shapes XL Stamp Set to stamp over the embossed image using the same green, purple, and blue inks as before.
To finish, I added simple sentiments from Sentiment Strips Stamp Set, heat embossed using Pure White Embossing Powder onto Jet Black Cardstock.

These are really beautiful. Your favorite colors are the same as my favorite colors! :)
Lydia, these are amazing! I’m again inspired by your creativity!
What a wonderful colorcombination Lydia !
Interesting technique but made beautiful cards. I especially liked the one with the finger daubers. Thanks for sharing!
Great technique Lydia that makes gorgeous cards. IMy favorite is the one with the finger daubers, although the thought of using a shape stamp is also very interesting. Thank you so much for showing and have a great weekend.
