Hello there everyone and happy Friday! It's Lydia here with you and I will be sharing a fun technique that will show beautiful stamping inside the card as well as at the front.
I started by cutting a square window in the front of the card base using the largest of the Halftone Squares Nesting Die Set. I then cut the same square into a panel of cardstock the same size as the card base, this will be used to cover the adhesive later on.
I then opened up the card and stamped the large flower and leaves from Beautiful Day Stamp Set. I used Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, and Heart Beat Inks for the flower layers and Minty Mint and Sweet Leaf Inks for the leaves. Once I had done this I placed a piece of acetate over the stamping and stamped the outlines of the flowers and leaves into place using Embossing Ink and then heat set using Rose Gold Embossing Powder.
When the embossing was cool I then closed the card and adhered the acetate, making sure the outline matched up with the stamping on the inside of the card. I then adhered the die-cut panel over this to cover up all of the adhesives.
You can watch the step-by-step video below or over on our YouTube Channel:
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again really soon!
