Hello there everyone! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a fun bold tropical leaf background with lots of gorgeous gold elements. I'll be using Wild Ferns Stamp Set with Fine Alphabet Die Set and Fine Frames Cover Die.
To start, I stamped my whole background with leaves from Wild Ferns Stamp Set. I used Limeade, Lime and Fresh Leaf Inks to stamp the layers. Once this was complete, I then stamped over these images again, using the base layer of each image, with Embossing Ink and heat set using Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. When this was done, I ink blended over the whole panel using Galactic Stream Ink. For a little added interest, I added gold splatters using a gold color from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set.
I created a stacked sentiment using Fine Alphabet Die Set. I cut each of the letters five times, once from Gold Mirror Cardstock and four times from Navy Cardstock. These were adhered together using glue tape with the gold one on top. Next, I cut the Fine Frames Cover Die from Gold Mirror Cardstock. This gave me many beautiful frames to play with. I adhered two of these to some vellum and added on the sentiment before adding this to my stamped card panel.

Beautiful card, Lydia….thank you for sharing your creative techniques!
Framing of the sentiment really makes it stand out. Very much like the use of the ferns as a background fill as well as the color combinations. Great video with so many helpful tips.
