Hello Altenew fans. Today I'll be sharing a layout I created using the Reflection Scrapbook Collection . Layers are a really fun way to use lots of designs and colors but at the same time you can still keep the overall design simple.
On this layout I wanted the photo to be the main focal point. I created flow and added detail using Altenew stickers and embellishments which are all available in the kit but you can also buy them separately in the store. The 6*6 paper pad doesn't come in our full collection pack but can be found in the New Day card kit.
To create flow I used the Warm Sunshine Shimmer Spray Ink which has a gold finish to it. It draws the eye from the bottom left hand corner to the upper right hand corner and guides the eye over the photo. This in turn helps the photo stand out.
Some wood veneer birds create a visual triangle that will draw the eye towards the quote. I also added a hand drawn arrow and a date stamp using the Altenew roller stamp (which comes in the Reflection collection kit).
You can watch the process video in HD on YouTube or just watch it below to see how the layout came together.
I did have to play around with different elements for a while until I found a placement which I liked.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy scrapping and see you soon.

Wow, I love the colors! I haven’t scrapbooked since I was a kid but it’s something I’m thinking of starting up again. I’ll check out some more of your posts, I love this composition and layering!
This project is very fascinating!
