Welcome everyone. It is Lilith today sharing a new layout using the Reflection scrapbook collection, Halftone Hearts stamp/die set and some other fabulous Altenew products. (I also couldn't resist using the Antique Gold embossing powder).
Last week my sister gave birth to her 3rd child and as I absolutely ADORE babies I rushed over to see her. I got lots of baby cuddles and also managed to take a couple of pictures. One I edited to black and white and I knew I'd use it on a layout. My color scheme is simple so I picked black, white and hints of gold.
I pulled out two patterned papers from the Reflection scrapbook collection which matched the color scheme I had in mind. Also to add interest I flipped the rose paper 45° and cut off any excess.
For embellishments I picked some die cuts from the scrapbook collection, some enamel dots which come from the New Day card kit and I also made some using stamps and Antique Gold embossing powder.
To make the embossing powder stand out I embossed onto black woodgrain paper (extra detail) and then I cut out the shapes. I used the die for the HUGS AND KISSES phrase and cut the hearts by hand.
Stamps from the Layered Letter AFG stamp were perfect as 3 text labels which I added to the sides of the photo. I drew my own borders around them so that they would pop off the layout.
You can see how the whole layout came together in the video below or in HD on YouTube.
Thank you all for stopping by. I wish you an amazing Sunday.
