Happy Wednesday! We are excited to feature our guest designer of the month: Stephanie Klauck! She has a simple, clean, yet beautiful project to share with you today so let's get right to it!

Altenew1

Hello, Altenew friends! This is Stephanie. I love the artistic look of the Painted Butterflies stamp set and love all of the options to layer them. I really wanted to create some butterflies that were mainly grey with a pop of colour and a black outline. Below is a full video tutorial to see how you can create this card!

I decide on the butterflies I wanted to use and stamped the three lightest gray inks and then layered the Ruby red and Coral berry layers on top before adding teh black outline.

Because the butterflies are so detailed, I really wanted them to remain the focus of the card, so I left the overall design pretty simple. I left a lot of white space and added a bit of detail to the right hand side with a striped piece of patterned paper and a strip of silver cardstock.

The gray, corals and black together is a beautiful colour combination that really make the butterflies pop off the card front.

Below is the full supplies list used on this project:

Hope you enjoyed today's project by Stephanie! Don't forget to leave some love for her by commenting below. Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card Stephanie! love that butterfly stamp! I was wondering if you could have stamped all 3 butterflies at the same time with the Misiti? That has crossed my mind several other time when I have seen it used. Thanks so much for the video tutorial!
