Hi there everyone. It has been a while since I have posted something for Altenew. My computer has given me nothing but trouble but I'm back. Today I'll be sharing a whimsical layout with you where I created a fun subtle border using the Golden Garden Stamp Set and two crisp inks: Mountain Mist and Lagoon.
I first stamped the lighter color around the bottom and top borders and then I added some details with a darker color. I choose some fine leaves for the design.
You can see the full process just below or in HD on YouTube HERE.
Here are some close-ups.
I really love the look of the stamped images. It defines the layout and adds detail without it being too overpowering.
I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions or if you'd like to see me use a certain technique or product, just pop that in the comments section.
Have a wonderful day.

So pretty :-)
Love the butterflies. What paper are they from?
Love all the elements on your project.
Beautiful!
Stunning page…luv the butterflies…what paper did you cut them from?
I love butterflies! I love them so much that I stamped them on my bed sheets. They look so pretty (I have a twin bed) but boy was that a job! I colored some of them in but not all so I could put it on my bed. It’s a cotton sheet so I can color in the rest of them in the winter when my flannel sheets are on. I love to stamp on fabric but would I do this again? No way! It was a very big job and I thought “I have a twin bed, how hard can it be and how long can it take me?” If I had a queen bed, I’d be in an institution trying to calm down after that! LOL I love to use butterflies on cards and have them land on flower stamps. The ones you used are very pretty and they look just right on the page.
