Video: Fun, Colorful Cards with Hug Me Stamp Set

Hello everyone! Erum here and I am sharing two cards today which are super fun and colorful. My cards feature the adorable Hug Me Stamp Set.

I started with the Pink card. First, I applied water onto the watercolor cardstock in the form of a horizontal band. Next, I dropped in Pink color and spread it around.

After this, I applied water again, this time I left a little space between this band of water and the one I had already colored. To this, I added Red watercolor. After spreading the red watercolor, I mix it a bit with the first pink band so that it seems like there is some sort of smooth transition. I followed the same technique and added Orange and Yellow colors too. After I was done, I left this panel to air dry.

Later, after the panel was dry, I stamped the “hug me” fox directly onto the panel. I then heat embossed it with the Crystal Clear Crisp Embossing Powder. I stamped the “hug me” fox again but this time on white cardstock. Next, I colored the fox with Prismacolor pencils, fussy cut it out, and glued it onto my clear embossed image. But before gluing this down, I added a few black splatters onto the background.

My second card follows the same background technique. For this, I just changed the colors to Blues and Greens. Then I stamped the “fox with balloons” and a few clouds on white cardstock and then colored them with Prismacolor pencils. Next, I used the Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine to die cut the tiny elements. Then I popped these onto my card front. I also added some shimmer with shimmer pen to the balloons.

In the end, I added a few shimmer splatters onto both the card fronts. I also applied some glossy accents to some parts of the stamped images.
