Hi there everyone!
Erum here today with three cards and a process video featuring the new Classic Alphabet Die Set mainly and a few other new products.
Let's start with the simplest one.
To start, I first cut up several strips of a slightly different hue of white cardstock (compared to the card base). I chose different shades of whites so that when I adhere the strips onto the base, they would stand out a bit.
Next, I die cut the letters J and Y from the Classic Alphabet Die Set. I die cut these in green four times and once in red. I stacked the green letters with liquid glue and for the topmost layer, I glued the red letter.
Doing this gives a very interesting result, as you can see from the photo above.
In place of “o”, I used the Layered Snowflakes Die Set. For this, I used only two layers which I cut out of matte silver cardstock. I used a glue gun to adhere the two layers together.
To finish off, I added some clear drops.
Onto my second card.
Again, I kept the design simple though not minimalistic this time.
First I stamped the images from Always There Stamp Set onto watercolor paper with Permanent Black Ink. Next, I used Rubellite and Warm Sunshine Watercolor Brush Markers to color the flowers.
I applied Rubellite in the flicking motion moving inwards towards the flower center. Next, I applied Warm Sunshine next to the flower center and then blended both the colors with a water brush. For the leaves, I used Limeade and Moss.
After the watercolor was dry, I die cut the images with the coordinating die and then added white paint splatters with the help of Pure White Ink Spray.
For the background, I diluted Moss Watercolor and added a few splatters of various concentration. After this, I die cut the letter “E” twice and glued the two pieces together before adhering it onto the card front. Then I arranged the images and added a few sequins.
Now, my last card.
First, I die cut the letters “you” once in white and then colored them with Rouge Artist Marker. Next, I used Clear Embossing Ink and Dainty Swiss Dots to stamp on my alphas. Then, I heat embossed the letters with Golden Peach Embossing Powder. For the lower half of the alphas, I used the Versamaker and then heat embossed them.
For my card front, I used a pattern paper from Celebrations Paper Pack. I also die cut the Creative Edges: Lace Die to add as a decorative element.
After assembling my layers and the chipboard alphas, I stamped the sentiment from Build-A-Flower: Magnolia in Rouge Dye Ink. I adhered this onto the word “you”. To finish off, I adhered a few sequins.
That is all from my side today. You can watch the video below or on YouTube.
