Video: Create your own embellishments

by Lilith Eeckels

Hello Altenew fans and welcome back to a new video from me, Lilith. Today I'll be showing you how to create a layout using 2 patterned papers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection with some stamps, dies, inks and markers from Altenew. If you have the collection you will know you get a lot of product but at some point your favourite embellishments start to diminish. An easy way to counter this problem is to create your own.

@lilith @altenew

On this layout I used the Botanical Garden Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set set as well as the Say Cheese Stamp Set and Coordinating Die.

The Altenew Markers are great for coloring in images as I did with the butterflies. Pop them onto a peg and create a fun detachable embellishment that you can add to any project. I added to my homemade tags. These are also really easy to make and the options are endless.

You can also create your own little paper dots by coloring some cardstock and cutting out circles with a punch or die. Add a couple of small dots with a pen pen and create little buttons.

You can watch the process video of this layout on You Tube or below:

I don’t scrapbook anymore but I love your style and enjoy watching you. It gives me ideas for the cards I make.
