Hello!
It's Marika here and today is my turn to host Altenew blog. As you may know, the latest release was quite special to me: My first stamp set called Birch Land was released. Today I'm going to show you what I had in mind while designing this stamp set. I just love watercolored look but watercoloring takes time and sometimes we just don't have it. Within this set you can create watercolored scenes with less time using watercolour stamping technique. Here are two of my examples:
I used Distress Inks for this first one. I stamped the images with them and then used my brush with clean water to blend the inks a bit.
For the second card, I used Zig Clean Color Markers to stamp my images and blended the ink with my water brush. I made this card into a video tutorial and you can watch it here or in HD in Youtube.

WOW! Gorgeous cards! Love the birch trees ♥♥
Marika, I think all your cards are beautiful, and I am a huge fan, but this stamp set is to die for. I just got it, and it has already become my favorite stamp set of all time. Seriously. The leaf cluster stamps are so versatile, I think you just can’t help but get perfect results every time you use them, regardless of what you do. I LOVE experimenting with the different effects I get from this amazing stamp set. Congratulations, and please design more sets !!
Beautiful! I love this stamp set! Thank you for the video!
