Video: Art Journal page

by Lilith Eeckels

Hello Altenew fans. With all the new products coming out especially the Spray inks I was tempted to create an art journal page. I used to make them quite often a couple of years back and then I slowly stopped as I was making more and more layouts. I though it would be nice to play with the Altenew products and create an art journal page. All the techniques used on this page can be used on a card or a layout. Just let the products inspire you.

If you'd like to create an art journal page I advise you to use good quality paper especially if you're working with a lot of water. Here are the supplies I used on this page:

Supplies:

Wild Hibiscus Stamp set

Beautiful quotes stamp set

Tiny hearts stamp set

Thought & Reminders stamp set

Forest Glades Spray ink

Frayed Leaf Spray ink

Ocean Waves Spray Ink

Dusk Spray Ink

Tiny Bubbles Stencil

Lagoon Crisp Ink

The Lagoon ink came in handy to add detail using the Tiny Bubbles stencil which I also used to add some white bubbles in acrylic paint. (Don't forget to clean the stencil quickly afterwards as the paint can dry fast and it will be harder to get it off once dry).

For the full process just watch the video in HD on YouTube or watch it below:

The most important thing is just go for it and have fun. Be creative with your supplies and play around with them. There are so many possibilities.

Have a lovely day.

Wow, this is beautiful! I’ve only just bought some ink sprays so I’m still pretty new to using them but this has given me some inspiration. Beautiful details and sentiment. Love the little bird.

All the projects are fantastic. What you do is so inspiring. I’m just starting to journal and so far I am loving it. I get a lot of ideas from blogs like this one. Thanks for all you do.
