Hi there, it's Therese and it's time for another card and video.
Today's project is all about altering word dies. I wanted to use the ‘You' from the Thinking of You Die and you can see how I used it in the video below.
Then I added a shadow using Jet Black Cardstock. I used the Leaf Canopy Stamp Set for my focal image and two-tone stamped this using Dew Drops and Bamboo Crisp Dye Ink.
Video Tutorial!
I decided to film the process.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD on Youtube.

I love this, love the colors too!
Thanks so much Kirsty
Lovely card! And thanks for the tips on altering sentiments – I’ve been using multiple copies, but I’m definitely going to try it with the fun foam.
I have used fun foam for ages now and find it so much easier, but the trick is to leave the fun foam die cut in place and adhere the cardstock one on top, wait for it to dry a bit and then remove it as one piece. Have fun!
Super simple yet beautiful card!!
Thanks so much Karthikha
Great card, thanks for the video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Such a pretty card, Therese! And, now I want the Leaf Canopy stamp set.
It’s a great set, I have the matching die on my wish list lol.
Really beautiful card! Well done with the shadow on the words and the two-tone leaves!
Thank you so much Lenice
Love the colors you used on the leaves. Simply stunning.
Thank you Anne
Really Beautiful!!
Thanks Maureen
What a great way to stretch your die use, a great card and idea Therese.
Thanks so much Teresa
Very pretty Therese. I don’t know about cutting the single word out of the die tho, I’m pretty shaky sometimes. lol Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you so much Judy
Great idea, and I like the beautiful simplicity of this card!
I have been making a lot more CAS designs at the moment, I’ve really been enjoying more simple designs but I’m sure that will change again soon.
This is fabulous and I loved your video which explained how you added the ink to the edges!!
Thanks so much Beverly
