Hi everyone!
Svitlana is here today. Now is the season of love and Valentine's card-making, which usually means red or pink cards in their majority. Which may not work for every recipient, like for men. I personally often don't really like the cheesiness of traditional Valentine's cards. So today I want to share one design using a bit (or not really) of contemporary colors.
I started by making an A2 card out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then I cut a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel out of a patterned paper from the Enchanting Washes 6×6 Paper Pack and adhered it onto the card base.
Next, I die-cut several white roses using dies from the Rose Filament Die Set, which I then adhered onto the card.
I cut the letters for the word LOVE out of a gold glitter paper using dies from the Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set and foam mounted them onto the card.
Lastly, I added several gold crystals to accentuate the card.
Now… I have to make a confession. Originally, I planned to have the darker part of the design in the bottom part of the card. But I kind of got carried away deciding where to place flowers so didn't pay attention to that part. I only realized this when I was EDITING the PHOTOS, lol. But I like how it turned out. So this confession rant was about a fortunate mistake and that sometimes going the opposite direction can give a better result.
Have a wonderful day!

Very pretty , you can never put Love on a wrong colored card .
This is AWESOME Svitlana, I am not a pink girl and this one is great for Valetine! Thank you so much for sharing and have a great weekend.
Svitlana, this is a spectacular card and you are right, sometimes a plan is better when it is altered at the end! A totally stunning result and I love the dark at the top; it draws your eye all around the card front. Thanks for sharing your stunning work!
Oh my gosh, ‘how beautiful. Love the crisp white flowers on the blue base card. Thank you for sharing this “fortunate” mishap. I have the stamp set, button the dies (yet), lol.
Have a lovely weekend, and hope all that forecast snow doesn’t cause too much havoc.
Woooooo! I love your background. Outstandingly beautiful.
Great card, I usually go with nature as the red/pink is so much not my husband. Thanks for the great idea.
LOVE is in the air – especially with these cards. Great and thanks for presentation. You are very skilled and tallented.
I have a friend who says there are no mistakes, only happy changes. I think the card is magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

Stunning card – of course you’ve chosen my favourite colour, which also helps. Love the non-traditional colour for a valentine card. Beautiful work. TFS.
