It's been awhile since I have attempted a layout using only the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. In December however, we managed to away for a few days. It was Eva's first vacation, so naturally I took a ton of photos. The Reflection Collection is going to be perfect for scrapbooking them all. Today's layout is a very simple, one nap project.
Given the photo was mostly blue, I decided to run with it an attempt a monochrome layout. I used three pattern papers from the collection, along with a multitude of embellishments. I worked to create three clusters in a triangle formation around the page. This is a very old trick for creating a layout with great balance.
Once I was happy with the placement of my photo and clusters it was just a matter of adding a title and journaling. The collection come with a very handy travel themed stamp set. So I decided to use the beautiful brush script vacation stamp. I composed the journaling on one of the many typewriters that litter my studio. And that really is all there is too it.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. I'm sure, I'll be being you again real soon.
