Two Stunning Bouquet Cards Using Craft-A-Flower Layering Die Sets

by Terri

Hey there crafty friends, Terri here!

Today, I am sharing two stunning bouquet cards using Altenew's popular Craft-A-Flower Layering Die Sets.

I don't know about you but I have a ton of floral layering die sets in my crafty stash and I've been wanting to combine them for a long time.

This week, I had a really nice video chat with crafty friends and sat and die cut lots of Altenew's Craft-A-Flower Layering Die Sets from Gradient Cardstock. The time flew past and before I knew it I had enough to open a flower shop!

Easy Bouquet Cards with Floral Layering Die Sets

My first card uses flowers cut from the Craft-A-Flower Butterfly Bush, Daisy, Tulip, Primrose Blossom, and Poppy.

First, I cut the images from Gradient Cardstock in the following shades; Red Sunset, Green Meadows, Shades of Purple, Rose Petal, and Summer Afternoon. I love how all of these flowers are sized perfectly to fit in my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine. To adhere the layers, I choose to use the 2-in-1 Precision Glue Pen.

The A2 card base was prepared by adding an embossed panel.

To create this, I embossed some light blue card panels with the Charming Mandala 3D Embossing Folder and gently swiped the Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink Pad over the top. I started to add the flowers, building my bouquet, sliding in leaves and foliage. I then added a die-cut sentiment using the Tiny Sentiments: Hello Die.

My second card was created in a very similar way, although I did change some of the flowers.

This time I used the Craft-A-Flower Cosmos, African Daisy, Tulip, Primrose Blossom, Snowdrops, and Rose Layering Die Sets. I cut from the following Gradient Cardstocks; Summer Afternoon, Green Meadows, Red Sunset, Red Cosmos, Shades of Purple, and Rose Petal.

Instead of adding the die-cut sentiment, I chose to use a stamp.

I love how the Mega Label Love sentiments added a huge impact on my projects. Also, the juxtaposition of stark black and soft florals adds a modern feel!

I hope you've enjoyed today's post and will be reaching for your floral layering die sets to create something soon.
