Hello, Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. I am delighted to share a simple project with two cards. The Wave Form Cover Die has this artsy look of dripping paint. I took that as my jumping point for inspiration and incorporated watercoloring into my design.
I started out by painting my own watercolor paper with Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. It is best to use Watercolor Paper as I applied “Wet on Wet” technique.
With the largest brush (watercolor brushes or Artist's Watercolor Brushes-Round), I brushed the paper with water first. I then picked up the mixed paint each time. This is really the fun and creative part where you can pick all of your favorite colors. You can also use any colors that inspire you.
Once I finished painting an A2 card size, I let it dry. Then I die cut the piece with Wave Form Cover Die. Next, I took out the Glitter Card Stock (Dazzling Diamond), I now have two sets of dies from Wave Form Cover Die.
Then it is puzzle time! I assembled the glitter pieces and watercolor pieces and assembled the card. With the leftover pieces, I made another card by adhering it to a pre-cut A2 Card. I stamped the sentiment from Woven Stripes Stamp Set. This is one colorful card and great for anyone who needs some encouragement.
For my 2nd card, I saved all the pieces from my first card and used You Matter Die Set for the sentiment. As you can see, I glued a thin strip of Gold (Gilded Cardstock Set) and ran the “You” sentiment die through the die cutting machine.
To complement the bright watercolors, I chose a bright Orange Cream Cardstock.
This is what I love about this die. The lines are so beautiful that you can use any paper that you have on hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. You can create your own colored paper, colored cardstock, or patterned paper.
What do you think? I hope that you are inspired and give cover dies like this a try! Thank you for stopping by!

These are stunning! The second one, too!
What neat cards! I love the way you used the glitter card stock for some of the pieces to go with the water color portion of the card. It may be a simple project but the results are great!
Very pretty!
Fabulous results.
