Two Fresh Ways to Use This Nature-Themed Stamp Set!

by Virginia Lu

Hello, Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. I have two fresh ways of using Birch Forest Stamp Set. This background stamp is not just for seasonal cards; it is perfect for all year-round. I hope that my ideas will give you extra ideas and inspiration for using stamp sets like this.

My first card is a very clean and simple one. The white-embossed Birch Trees on the Real Gray Cardstock truly stand out and are absolutely stunning.  The stamp set truly speaks for itself!

I stamped the encouraging sentient in Obsidian Pigment Ink on white cardstock. And then, I die cut it with the Apothecary Label Die and layered a black die-cut piece underneath. The black twines were looped and adhered with a double-sided tape.

I adhered the sentiment on top with double-sided tape and this card was complete. This card design is perfect for thinking of you, birthday, sympathy, and other types of sentiments.

For the background in this next card, I only stamped part of the Birch Tree Forest in all of the green from Green Fields Mixed Media Ink. I then added Crystal Clear Embossing Ink right after stamping and heat set it. This gave the birch tree a beautiful shine and added textures. Love that about Mixed Media Inks!

For the focal point, I stamped and die cut Sweet Flowers Stamp & Die Bundle in yellow (Golden Sunset), blue (Lapis Lazuli) and purple (Shades of Purple). This Sweet Flower Stamp Set has some amazing etched details and makes it effortless for us stampers.

I really like this Birch Trees stamp & the first card in the grey is fabulous. I also love the sentiment & the black twine tied at the angle on each side of the Apothecary Label is a perfect touch.

These are tremendous! I really like them and I especially like the use of the birch trees. Fun for year round. Reminds me of when I lived in Vail, CO and could see all the aspen trees change; the bark was what reminded me of these tree branches that Altenew has in their brich tree stamp. Fun and TFS Virginia!!! :)

Great ideas for use of the set. I like the idea shared in the second card for a smaller background
