Hi, friends!
Svitlana is here. A couple weeks ago when I was making a card for the Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop, I almost accidentally colored an image on gray cardstock using Warm Gray Artist Markers.
I liked the result very much and had a thought – “Wow! It looks so cool. I need to try doing this again in another color”. And right away I had another thought – it would look great with the Leaf Canopy Stamp Set in green or blue color. And it really does!
I started making my card by making a panel out of a mint cardstock. Next, I stamped and colored several leaf branches from the mentioned set.
Each branch I stamped using the Dusk Dye Ink and a stamp platform, leaving the stamp mounted to the platform lid, colored it with Desert Night, Dusk, Ocean Waves and Sea Breeze Artist Markers from the Cool Summer Set, placed the panel back into the platform and stamped over again with the same ink. I did the second stamping to make the branches outlines crisper.
After that, I stamped a couple more smaller branches onto a Solar White Cardstock using the Dusk Dye Ink and die cut them using the coordinating dies.
Also, I white embossed a sentiment onto a Jet Black Cardstock strip using Pure White Embossing Powder.
I cut several leaves off the stamped white branches. Next, I foam mounted the sentiment onto the panel placing the white leaves underneath.
Lastly, I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base and added several white crystals to finish off the card.
Hope you like my idea and give it a try. Have a wonderful day!
