Hi, it's Therese and I'm so excited to host the February 2021 Inspiration Challenge. This month's colors make me so very happy and I couldn't wait to start creating!
I was inspired by the photo and the colors today. I thought it would be great to use just one bloom and I chose the Craft-A-Flower: Lily.
Next I created a Rounded Rectangles border and added leaves from the Just Leaves Die Set.
Finally, for the sentiment I used the Tranquility Rose Stamp Set and a Simple Greetings Die.
I decided to film as I created and you can watch the video here or in HD on YouTube.
I hope that you join the fun challenge and get inky! Our Design Team and I look forward to checking out what you created! Thank you for stopping by!

Love this card…It’s Gorgeous and Unique.. 💖
Thank you Sadia!
That was such a lovely card that you made. I don’t usually like die cut flowers but what you did with it and the colors used made it breathtaking. I have done swatches for my alcohol markers and it has saved me many hours plus quite a bit of ink. That way I don’t have to use a scratch piece of paper to get the right color. HMMM! Swatch my inks. I heard doing cardstock was good, also and using a binder ring to hold them together. Things to do during a pandemic.
I also have my markers swatched and I agree it really takes the ‘guess work’ out of choosing colours and it’s exactly the same with inks, and it’s great if you want to see what a couple of colours look like next to each other too… although I do have mine on A4 sheets and this makes i a little more difficult to do that….. so I just bend my cardstock lol. I didn’t want to make my system to fancy because then I wouldn’t do it so a simple stamp in a pre prepared Atlenew downloaded sheet worked perfectly for me. (and my Mum actually updated for me the last time it was done, she is sooo cool!)
Absolutely stunning card….the colors make my heart sing!
Yes, Bright = Happy for me too!

Such a beautiful card and color combo! I created a card for this challenge, but as I read through the rules, I realized that I don’t have a blog. Is there any way I can still enter my card into the challenge with just a photo? If not, no problem. It was fun to create :-)
thanks so much Liz, I do hope you can join!
