Hello friends! This is Virginia here. Do you love floral sets like I do? This post will inspire you to look at your floral with fresh eyes. I am using Sketched Florals to create 3 totally different looks. These watercolor flowers are loosely painted and look so artistic. Whether you are a beginner or pro in stamping, you will find so many fun ways creating with this set. Let's dive right in!
Creating Wonders with Sketched Florals
I love arranging floral die cut pieces into a wreath. The Sketched Florals Dies are perfect for this.
All the pieces in this post were stamped with three sets of inks Atomic Fresh Dye Ink , Summer Dreams Fresh Dye Ink and Woodland Escape Dye Ink.
You can use any Altenew Dye ink for all of your projects and mix and match them. Using the Stampwheel will definitely make mixing the colors easy and striking.
When arranging a wreath, I like to start with the smaller pieces and then add the large flowers as the focal point. The Instant Dimension Foam Tape is a must for adding extra dimensions. I love the flexibility of cutting each foam piece to fit.
Don't forget to add your own personal flair to the handmade cards. I stamped TWO sentiments and a small heart ( from Dainty Flower Stamp) for this project. Why not, right?
2. Simple Floral Arrangement With a Die
Not sure how to arrange the floral pieces? No problem. Simply use a die such as Archways Die Set to create that sophisticated look.
After diecutting Archways Die Set, I added Jet Black Cardstock as backing. This creates a very striking look instantly.
Notice all the floral and sequins pieces are all in odd numbers? The odd numbers help us to visualize objects in a more appealing ways.
3. Elevate the Floral design with Textures and Gradient Effect
To create that textured background, I ink-blended the Industrial Diamond Crisp Dye Ink over Dotted Waves Debossing Cover Die.
With the Small Ink-Blending Brushes, I started from the edges toward the middle to create the Gradient Effect.
The Elegant Sayings Stamp and Die Bundle really compliments this design beautifully. A touch of Metallic Threads , sequins and splatter (Antique Silver Metallic Ink Spray) took the design up a notch.
I hope you enjoy today's post with Sketched Floral Sets. As you can see, I certainly had a blast creating with these awesome Altenew goodies. How are you going to use the Sketched Floral Sets? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
Thank you for stopping by!
