Hello, everyone! It's Aga here today with three cards created with Polka Dot Buds Layering Stencil Set. It’s a great set that features two stencils – both can be used on their own to create a simple background or combined to create a multi-colored retro pattern. With a few simple steps, you can now get gorgeous layering images with very little effort.
Card 1
I started my first card by applying Olive and Dusk Crisp Dye Inks with Ink Blending Tools over the first layer. Then I applied the second layer with Moss Crisp Dye Ink. I added black ink splatters while my stencil was still in place.
To finish my card, I die cut my sentiment using Fine Alphabet Die Set out of white cardstock and used Desert Night and Dusk Markers to color the letters in. I combined it with sentiments from Watercolor Dots Stamp Set.
Card 2
For my second, I used Pinkalicious and Rubellite Crisp Dye Inks for the first layer. Next, I slightly shifted the second layer up for a different kind of pattern. I again used Moss Crisp Dye Ink for leaves, and I applied black ink with a cotton swab. I also stamped a small dotted stamp from Watercolor Dots Stamp Set with Rubellite Crisp Dye Ink.
To finish the card, I added letters die cut using Fine Alphabet Die Set colored with Fresh Lemon and Maple Yellow markers from Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F and combined it with a sentiment from Thinking of You Stamp Set.
Card 3
For my last card, I applied green inks from Green Valley Crisp Dye Ink Set over my stencils and added some small stamp from Watercolor Dots Stamp Set.
My last step was to add letters colored with Rubellite and Razzleberry Markers from Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F and a sentiment from Thinking of You Stamp Set.
I hope you enjoyed these examples and you found some inspiration today. Thank you for stopping by!
