Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today, I am sharing two cards using Altenew's Peaceful Reverie Stamp Set. I decided to add shading to the flowers in two different ways.
Starting with the unique ‘stippled' style shading that is part of the stamp layering set.
I added a Cozy Flannel Cover Die cut to the front of my card as well as a sentiment from the Flower Vine Stamp Set.
And, as a final touch, some black enamel dots to the center of the flowers.
My second card design has the shading added using colored pencils.
This time I added a Jet Black Ink splattered background
I also added a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set.
You can see my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Hope you are having a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by.

Peaceful Reverie is my favorite set in that release. Your cards are both Gore. Love how the added pencil make the subtle shading. Nice job, thanks for sharing.

Hi Therese. Have been off the air for a while – all good, just busy making cards but now have about 600 emails to get through. LOVE both your gorgeous cards and as always, I enjoy watching you create. Also enjoyed watching you shade those flowers so beautifully with pencils. I really NEED some good quality pencils – the ordinary ones are just so much hard work. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cards with us. Hope you and yours are keeping well and happy and staying away from the flu. Bev from Sydney.
600 emails sounds scary, that would be at least a pot of tea for me lol. Yes, some quality pencils are well worth the investment as they make our colouring life much easier, and they do last such a long time. Hope you get some crafty time in among the emails, Hugs Therese
Oh my goodness. Your drawing and shading of the petals is spectacular, Therese.
Thanks so much Bobby
Thank you for walking us through your coloring, I have colored pencils but rarely use them, you have done such a beautiful job here
I am using my pencils all the time at the moment and love them!
