Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today, I am sharing two cards using Altenew's Beloved Daisy Stamp Set. Both of my cards use the same stamps and Crisp Dye Ink colors but the end result is quite different.
I started with a simple emboss resist technique. Here I stamped and heat embossed the Beloved Daisy images before adding the ink over top.
Then I added a simple frame using one of the Fine Frame Cover Dies.
And the sentiment was two-tone stamped from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set.
Next, I stamp-layered the daisy images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I used the Beloved Daisy Mask Stencil to add some simple images directly to the background and to add some depth.
Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment onto one of the Handmade Tags Dies.
You can see my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Hope you are having the most fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by.

Hope this is helpful. Thanks so much for your lovely comments.
Cheerful, bright and beautiful cards from Therese. Love these videos!
Thanks Barbara
These are both such beautiful cards Therese but I am especially drawn to the first one and I am feeling very inspired to try this. I have been away on vacation for a week and before that busy prepping to go so I have not had time to play in my craftroom for a while. You have definitely inspired me to get back in there and try something fun! TFS!
That card was so much fun to make, and I love how the colours contrasted with each other too! Hope you have fun playing.
2 beauties, Therese! So fun to see what different looks you got using the same products! That thin frame was a great addition–gotta remember that!
I am using the fine frames so very much, the are such clever dies! Thanks so much for your lovely comments
They are absolutely elegant. Daisies can make anyone happy. Thank you for teaching the smooching technique. I want to try it ASAP. I bk marked this page.Love and hugs.
This technique has been around for a long time now and is always a fun one to return to. Thanks so much for your lovely comments.
So beautiful. Love this Daisy set so much. Definitely going to give that resist technique a try.
Yes, it’s been a while for me too and I love the way the colours look together!
Very pretty cards – I love those daisies.
They are beautiful aren’t they!
Really Beautiful cards!!! I love the embossed card!!
I had so much fun with that one!
Very very pretty.
Thanks so much
Both cards are absolutely beautiful! That’s a really great technique on the embossed card. I really need to try that. I love daisies!
I think daisies are such a happy flower!
Thanks for the wonderful video. I can’t wait to try it. I do have to buy some of those beautiful colors. Thanks for the tip of which paper to use. I do get warping with my card stock. And my water color paper is to bumpy.
If your cardstock warps simply wrap it in some copy paper and run it through your die cutting machine (without any dies) it adds pressure and flattens it out.
Absolutely love your cards. I love the bright, cheery colors too!
Bright colours always make me so happy too!
Beautiful. Some of the cards on the blogs are outside my skill level, but I feel I could make both of these and get a great result. Thank you.
Both of these cards are simple to make and fun too!
Gorgeous Therese. Love how the same stamps and colours can produce two such different cards
I am loving stretching my ideas to 2 different cards each time, it’s so much fun!
These are so pretty!
Thanks so much Kristen
I really really love the inspiration you bring
Your simple tips always keeps us on the edge
Thank you for doing this
Why thank you so much!
The colours together behind the embossed flowers on your first card looks like a field of flowers, it’s awesome!
Your second card is also so beautiful, I love both of the cards. Thank you again for your great inspiration Therese, I love your serie. Have a great Easter weekend.
I had so much fun creating these, I’m glad that you like them!
At first glance I fell in love with the embossed card, but as I continued watching the video I also really like the other card as well. Any mom would love to get either for Mother’s Day. Thank you for sharing.
