Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today, I am sharing two ways to use the Dotted Blooms Stamp Set and the Dotted Blooms Mask Stencil.
I created a background panel and used the negative Mask Stencil to add some blended color.
Then, I stamped the sentiment and an overlay of Vellum. I added a line art die-cut Dotted Blooms image to the front of the card design.
My second design uses the positive Mask Stencil to add a halo of color around the flowers.
The vase came from the Life is Beautiful Stamp Set and the sentiment came from the Wispy Begonia Stamp Set.
You can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Thanks so much for stopping by,

Terese, I am so drawn to your style. I can look through many pictures to find one that really gets my attention and have learned to not be surprised that it is one of yours. I know everyone has different taste and I just want to say that I love most everything you share.
Why thank you so much Kristen, you have made my day!
I love both of your ideas! So clever!
Thank you Mindy
I love both cards you did Therese, they are awesome. I thought it was a great idea to fold back the vellum so you could adhere it to your card without seeing.
And the second card, there was the image realy come to live after using the coloured pencils. Thank you so much for showing.
Thank you so much Henriette
Wow! Both cards are gorgeous, yet so different. I love how they show how versatile the stamp set can be.
Thank you so much
Both are just so stunning and beautiful!
Thank you Heidi
Beautifully done. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of this stamp set even more.
I was impatiently awaiting it lol.
I have been admiring the Dotted Blooms stamp set with the stencils and dies since it first was issued. I have held back but seeing your video with new subtle techniques and hues makes this set a must-have. Thank you for sharing.
It really is a beautiful set and I am having so much fun with it. It’s the stencils that are taking it to the next level I think.
Oh no, now I have to buy Life is Beautiful also! Absolutely stunning!
hahaha, but it is!
As always, these cards are gorgeous. I love the Dotted Blooms set and I have to try those mask stencils — genius!
Yes, I agree Altenew have done it again, those stencils are a game changer, but such a simple concept. Love them!
Stunning cards Therese. The Dotted Blooms set is one of my favourite stamps sets
Thanks so much Jenny
Gorgeous cards! This is a beautiful stamp set. So delicate.
Hi again Therese. LOVE both of these cards! I mentioned this on the Youtube as well, but this Take 2 series is great – love getting 2 inspirations from the one stamp. I always enjoy watching you and listening to you, as it’s good to know that even you talented people sometimes look at your work and don’t like it. I’m always second guessing my cards. You’re often quite funny too, which I also love. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work Therese. You’re always appreciated.
So happy to hear you are liking this Take 2 Series, I’m having so much fun creating 2 versions of something and making myself ‘think’ lol. Hope you have a great and crafty day! Hugs
Wow, both of your cards are gorgeous! I love the softness that the vellum gave on the first card. I’m so glad you didn’t scrap your second card because it’s stunning! I would never have thought to put the branch in the vase but it works so well. I like those cream colored inks, as well.
Thanks so much Cathy
Therese these are so delicate and pretty! I get so excited when you post a video, you are easy to understand, fun and your projects are always inspiring, thank you!
Why thank you, for your kind words!
This a beautiful stamp and I love the delicate colouring you did. Both cards are gorgeous. Great ideas for vellum and colouring- thanks.
Thanks so much Christine

So beautiful, Therese. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Glorie
Just loved it!! Thanks you.
Thank you Dolores
Gorgeous cards Therese, as always! It is amazing how adding more colour to the image changes the whole look of the second card! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring us all!
I agree, it wasn’t my favourite until I added the extra colour and then it seemed to just come to life, and I was much happier (and that’s what is important after all lol). Thanks so much for your lovely comments.
VERY MUCH ENJOYED THESE CARDS!
Thank you Dawn
