Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today, I have a stamp focus using the Incredible Stamp Set. The flowers from this set are perfect to use with the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
For my first design, I created a negative space panel for the front of the card with the Mod Vases Die Set.
I decided to add a silhouette of a leaf from the Vase Fillers Stamp Set.
I also added a sentiment from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set.
My next design uses the Mod Vases Stamp Set this time and I stamped it in 2 tones of gray to give it a solid look.
Then I added a simple sentiment from the Flower Vine Stamp Set.
And then I popped up the largest of the Incredible flowers as the focal point.
To see how I created these cards, you can watch my video here or watch it on HD on Youtube.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you were inspired to create with the NEW Incredible Stamp Set!

These cards defy my “I hate pink!” stance. One day when I grow up I’ll be this crafty, until then, I’m going to attempt to copy this. I like the cut for the vase design and the grays for the single vase. The marker on the centers of the flowers looks like flocking.
Thanks so much, and Yes, flocking would’ve been fabulous!
Love these!
Thanks so much Barbara!
love your cards, so simply elegant. Thanks for the watercolor video and the technique for partially inking the solid vase stamp and edges for a different look, love that idea!

Thanks so much Ginny
Wonderful designs–so creative & beautiful! Always love your work, Therese!
Why thank you Greta!
The combo of pink and grey looks lovely with these beautiful, line art flowers. I like them with the irregular stamens. Unfortunately get well cards will be needed soon. Stay well. There are some natural antivirals around that may decrease severity.
I hear you, though I can’t keep away in my line of work lol. thanks so much for your lovely comment Christine!
I love coming to altenews blog each day, so much amazing inspiration and great ideas. I love how you die cut the vases and then had the “shadow” or fill in the background. Super fun, and those flowers are so pretty!
Although coming to visit the blog does get expensive, trying to copy all these amazing designs! I steal layouts and ideas from the “real” card makers. Thanks so much for sharing!
hahaha, isn’t it funny how visiting a blog can be expensive… I so totally hear you lol.
I always enjoy your coloring videos. Your flowers are always beautiful. Those vases look great. I love the way you did them.
Altenew do the ‘best’ flowers!
Very clever use of the vase dies for negative space!
They are such great shapes and sooo many to choose from too, which I love!
So creative!! Love!!!!
Thanks so much!
Gorgeous Therese, I love both of them. They are so elegant. Thank you so much for sharing and have a great day.
Thanks so much Henriette!
Therese, what watercolor paper did you use? Love both cards!
Thank you.
I used the Ranger Watercolor Paper which has both a rough and smooth side. Hope this is helpful. Have the most wonderful and crafty day, Therese.
