Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today I am sharing two techniques using the same Beveled Squares Stencil, starting with the Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set background and then adding some transparent texture paste.

I used the Gentleman's Gray Crisp Dye Inks which added a nice warm gray tone to the designs.

I also added a wide frame die-cut with the Halftone Squares Die Set from some Dark Gray Cardstock.

Both card designs had sentiments embossed from the Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set.

I created an ombre background using the Beveled Squares Stencil for the second card design.

And the mini bouquets for both cards were created from the Layered Floral Elements Die Set.

You can see my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Love these from Therese. She always inspires. I recently ordered some stencils from Altenew (though not this one) and this gives me some ideas for using them.
I hope you have fun with your new stencils Barbara!

Absolutely love these!
Thank you Greta
Awesome cards Therese, love to see how you made two different cards. Also great the grey tints of ink that you used, I almost never use grey but I love this. Thank you so much for showing this great inspiration.
I am a little addicted to the greys at the moment, especially the new set recently released called Gentleman’s Gray! thanks so much for your lovely comments. Therese
You are such a joy to listen to… your voice is so pleasant and I feel so relaxed while you have fun creating your cards, which are gorgeous, by the way! I’m thinking I need some stencils, now!
You are so sweet, Thank you
Yet again, stunning cards Therese. Great idea keeping the leftover die cuts too. I’m a bit of a magpie and cannot throw them out either! lol I always look forward to your videos, thank you for sharing.

beautiful cards. I love the stencil techniques and awesome gray colors. The beautiful die flowers/leaves make such a stunning card. I love the colors and richness.
I think all the 3D flowers are amazing and add a real ‘wow’ factor. thanks so much for your lovely comments

Thank you my friend
Your cards are beautiful, Therese. Thank you for sharing and for the video!
Thank you so much Maureen

Thank you so much Melissa
Thank you Therese for doing a video showing a couple of different ways to use one stencil to get different looks & end up with wonderful cards. I love stencils, but so often I look at one & wonder how to use it. Anytime you do a video on them, I’d be delighted also. I’ve become quite a fan of grey as well in the last couple of years. Is it because I’m getting older? lol
Hi Teri, I have already added more ‘stencil’ videos to the list but will now add it again lol. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, Therese
