Succulents In A Crate

Hi friends! Svitlana is here today with a simple card made using stamps from Succulents and Best Dad Stamp Sets.

Best Dad Stamp Set is a great set packed with images that can be used on a masculine card. But it also has a box (or bin, or crate) image, that can be totally be filled with flowers. And if there are flowers … a card can be for any occasion and any gender really. I decided to fill this crate with succulents.

To start off I cut a panel out of Solar White Cardstock and stamped the scene onto it. I used Rocky Shore Dye Ink for stamping and I did some masking to mask off overlapping parts of the succulents as well as their pots. Next the scene was colored with alcohol markers.

I stamped the sentiment using a stamp from Label Love Stamp Set stamped with Pure Graphite Dye Ink. I trimmed a panel to make it narrower with part of the scene kind of sticking out of the panel edges. Next the panel got foam mounted onto a card base made out of Parchment Cardstock.

To finish off the card I added several clear droplets.
