Stretching your Altenew Stamps – Video!

by Therese Calvird

Hi, it's Therese here and today I have a tip on how to get more out of your stamps.  I wanted a stamped polka background and didn't have a suitable stamp to use and so I looked at what I did have and…..   out came the Teachers Rule set and an apple?

So Sweet - Detail copy

After I created my panel background I stamped and ‘messy' coloured some cute ice creams from the Way Too Sweet set and used the matching dies to cut them out.

So Sweet copy

I also die cut a window to highlight my sentiment and as a final touch added some stickles for a little shimmer.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Dare I say, how sweet this card is…love the soft tones and imperfect coloring. Adds so much to the finished project.

Great tip, I would have never thought about an apple for a large polka dot, brilliant!

That card is adorable. I love the idea of using stamps in a different way. Thanks for the inspiration. I also love the cheat of placing your sentiment. It’s so much easier and no one will know the difference, it’s brilliant. I really enjoy your blog
