Hello, friends!
It's Virginia here! Are you loving the April 2018 Stamps and Dies Release? Many of you mentioned that you adore the Happy Heart Stamp & Die Bundle. The delicate hand-drawn details are absolutely amazing. You can apply this stamp set with any types of coloring medium! This time I am sharing how I used it with the patterned papers from Reflection Scrapbook Collection. This proves to be a quick and easy way to create multiple flowers. The patterned papers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection have so much to offer as they come in assorted shades and colors. I simply stamped the images on the patterned paper.
The inks I used are Volcano Lake, Lagoon, Ruby Red, Persian Blue and Just Green.
With the matching dies, I can easily cut the stamped pieces with my Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine.
I created a small panel with the Dotted Washi Tape with the Cube Cover Die. Notice that I only use PART of the Cube Cover Die? In my view, this is another great way to stretch the cover dies! The Parchment Cardstock is perfect for pulling all types of mixed elements together.
I love using splatters to add interest to my design. The tiny droplets of Pure White Ink Spray gave this card some needed oomph!
I actually use the scraps after cutting out some large floral images from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. Yeah, this is the best part about paper crafting! We CAN reduce, reuse, and recycle our precious patterned papers!
I hope that you love this idea and get inspired to use your scraps with stamps and dies!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!

Gorgeous card Virginia! I love that you used scraps for the flowers – stunning! The washi tape and cover die makes a lovely backdrop for these pretty flowers.
Gorgeous card and an excellent use of the die!
The pattern in the flowers has such a neat look. I am a scrap user as well. It may only be paper but I save it anyway!
Oh wow! I love this!
Love the layering and details on this pretty card!
Lovely card Virginia, thank you.
So pretty. I like the use of patterned paper and washi tape.
What a beautiful card Virginia. I DO love the Happy Heart stamp/die set, what’s not to love? I recently got the Mini Blossom and I love it and I can’t wait to use it with my scraps of paper. (It used to be looked upon as being cheap if you kept your scraps but look at us now, using them up with that cute little Mini Blossom… Who’s laughing now? LOL) Your card is a perfect example to recycle those small pieces!
I love this idea for stamps that require coloring. I’m still working on my coloring and blending techniques, so this is a great alternative for me. The papers you used are gorgeous especially the blue! Your card is beautiful!
Pretty card with a lovely idea :)
