Stamp Highlight: Vintage Roses

by Nicole Picadura

Hello friends!

We always put our brains together to bring you more and more inspirations each day. We thought it would be fun to highlight a stamp set and provide a variety of projects using that particular set!

Today we are giving a spotlight to the stamp set that is very dear to our hearts, Vintage Roses! It is one of the first sets we introduced and still one of the popular stamp sets among crafters.

Vintage Flowers Stamp Set

The Vintage Roses stamp set allows you to create realistic looking roses for your cards, layouts, and more. The images are grouped together as you can see above to let you know what are used together for detailed looks. Of course, you can always opt out to use just couple layers or a single layer for different results. There is the coordinating die set you can use with the stamp and you can get both of them as a bundle.

Did you know we have a layering guide for the stamp set? You can click HERE to download and print it out to reference it. Also, if you want to learn how easy you can layer these together, check out our FREE class called All About Layering. You will be able to enjoy layering these images together effortlessly!

Our amazing design team members have been sharing lots of projects using this particular set for the past couple of years. Above are just few of them, and you can search our blog to see more examples using the set. Below are some of our favorites that we would like to share with you:

Lydia's card perfectly shows how you can created a clean and simple card while adding detailed, lovely roses as a focal point. She also used a background die to add texture to the whole card front. Aren't those roses just so lovely? Read more on this project here.

Yana's card is not only elegant and feminine, but also so much fun! Check out the colored pattern she created on the card front and the dimensional focal point on top of that. Lots of lovely elements on the card complement the warm roses. Learn more about this card here.

Anna shows how you can perfectly create an awesome background using just a few layer images from the set. Here she used some solids and partial layer images for the color blended background. It creates a perfect setting for a popped out sentiment! Check out more on this card here.

We hope you feel inspired to take out your own Vintage Roses stamp set and die set to create cards today. Mix and match the layering images by inking them up with our Crisp Dye Inks for easy color combinations.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful, crafty day!

Lovely set and beautiful samples. I recently picked up a magazine that had a free “rose stamp set and dies” by Altenew – haven’t used it it yet but feel very inspired :-)

This is one of my favorite stamp sets. It is so versatility and the results, like what you have shown, are breathtaking. To add some extra sparkle to the set, I enjoy using pearled papers – a nice, quite but elegant touch letting the beauty of both the paper and stamps come through.

Vintage rose is one my favorite Altenew stamps—don’t know how to pick one—I don’t know how to emboss using a die………..very intriguing idea. Beautiful, beautiful cards.
